Job Description

Life in the fast lane

As our Event Overlay Coordinator, you will be joining the Infrastructure team who make up part of the Operations Department.  

This is a 8 month fixed term position, based at our Head Office in St Kilda.

Reporting into the Division Manager – Event Overlay, you will be responsible for the coordination of event infrastructure including signage and wayfinding, third party infrastructure requirements and maintenance of associated management systems.

Additionally, you will:

  • Coordinate venue wayfinding signage in line with established templates and customer strategies.
  • Collate infrastructure requirements for third party event stakeholders including Corporate Partners, Formula 1 teams and support categories.
  • Participate in the venue design planning process through administrative support.
  • Process invoicing and maintain budgeting tools
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the engineering project manager with respect to event signage and other overlay items.
  • Update and distribute event collateral as directed.

 

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Qualifications in event management or business preferred.
  • Experience working in major event operations.
  • Experience working in business administration preferred.
  • A current Police Check and Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee), or be willing to obtain.
